Equipped with the G.E. Millenium MPR, Xeleris functional imaging workstation and the G.E. C.A.S.E 8000 (Cardiac Assessment System for Exercise) for stress testing technology, Nuclear Medicine Barbados assures high quality service to physicians and the public.

Nuclear Medicine Barbados offers a wide range of diagnostic tests including Nuclear Cardiology. Nuclear medicine uses non-invasive methods for the evaluation of physiology and function.

Nuclear Cardiology

Nuclear Cardiology is used to identify those at risk for, and those who have, CAD (Coronary Artery Disease).

In North America, Nuclear Cardiology studies are the most requested of all nuclear medicine studies.

With high incidences for both diabetes and CAD in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean there is no doubt a place for Nuclear Cardiology and we are proud to offer this service to Barbadians.
